ROADMAP EXPLAINED
Intro
Stranded on a far but beautiful Island, The Mooning Monkey founder “MGMK” started to draw in the sand what would become the project we know today.
After compiling ideas on tokenomics, game design, website sketches and drafting the first Comic Book storyline he decided to surround himself with like minded professionals to breathe life into Mooning Monkeys and send them to space for the survival of their Species…
Roadmap Phases
To ensure the success of this project and guarantee all participants of the ecosystem optimally benefit from our marketing activities and future developments, we have built a step by step roadmap for the next 2 years.
Phase 1 – The Origin (JUL – SEP 21)
During this phase, the early Mooning Monkey team created the foundations on which the project would be established on – the four core elements.
To represent the project’s heart and unique ecosystem in its full complexity, intensive research was conducted to perfectly map out the four elements, which is now available for public viewing today:
Branding elements such as color, typography, ETC. followed suit, and were decided upon based on their akiness to the Mooning Monkey’s four elements and brand identity.
It was also in this period that the first key components of the four elements were finalized, which includes: the Mooning Monkey Level 1 NFT collection list, Crash Game mock-ups, TAK Tokenomics blueprint, and the initial draft layers of the Comic Book series’ first chapter, “Dark Days”.
Some of these were revealed as sneak peeks to our early community members.
Phase 2 – Hello World (OCT – DEC 21)
The beginning of the 2nd Phase centered on establishing a social media presence, expanding visibility, and raising awareness for the project. These were met through the creation of selected social media platforms such as:
Soon after the creation of our social media accounts and website, the team began pitching the project to third parties within the crypto community. This led to the first official roster of Mooning Monkey partners and advisors
With these early collaborations, the project gained full access to essential launchpads and Exchanges, creating an integral step to the future success of the project.
Alongside establishing strategic partnerships, this phase also included the finalization of the Mooning Monkey Level 1 NFT collection, creation of the Evolution Lab, and the introduction of the Crash Game UX design.
At the end of this phase, the team decided to release some sneak peeks of the Crash Game to the public, and start the first active marketing campaign to promote the project.
Phase 3 – Partnerships & First Mint (JAN – APR 22)
Armed with a robust set of visual tools and refined documentation, the team focused on expanding the Mooning Monkey’s reach and visibility through a series of definitive third-party collaborations, which was not limited within the crypto community. This led to strategic partnerships with reputable names such as Jason A. Williams, Pomp Investments, and social media icon, Mr. Beast.
The team also established a strong community in Asia, primarily Thailand, wherein strong partnerships were formed with social media figures and celebrities through local partners.
In preparation for the Dutch Auction, the team secured a partnership with Hacken.io for the complete audit of its Minting Smart Contract, ensuring the safety of the minting event’s participants.
Additionally, the team partnered with Apollo X to launch the first Mooning Monkey INO to provide public assurance on the project’s legitimacy.
On February 16, the Dutch Auction was launched with 12,000 Mooning Monkey Level 1 NFTs ready for minting. A week later, all NFTs were listed on OpenSea.
Soon after, the team obtained rarity rankings and listings through Rarity Sniper and Rarity Tools . As well as began in-depth discussions with a US Marketing agency to start a marketing action plan for the future release of the Crash Game.
It was also in this phase that the team engaged with selected launchpads for the upcoming TAK Token IDO, which will take place in the next phase. Additionally, discussions have been held with Market Makers as well to ensure the smooth listing and management of the TAK token on CEX platforms.
Crash Game animations and further developments were added to the project’s progress milestones in light of the final decision on the official blockchain selection of the game.
Following careful consideration, the team decided that both NFT and the TAK Token will run on Ethereum, while the game will be set and playable on BSC (Binance Smart Chain).
Shortly after the Blockchain selection, sneak peeks of the Crash Game dashboard and final drafts of the Comic Book, first chapter, “Dark Days” were revealed – alongside new discussions for an advisory partnership with Carl The Moon.
To give a deeper understanding of the story, we also released the Mooning Monkey departure into Space with an amazing 3D video take off.
The conclusion of this phase is marked with the completion of the Mooning Monkey NFT Collection 2: Galactic Gorillas. Sneak peeks were also shared in all of our social media channels, followed by a 3D animation video of the Mooning Monkey’s take off, giving the community a better understanding of the narrative.
Phase 4 – Execution (MAY – AUG 22)
This phase marks the beginning of a significant turning point for Mooning Monkey. The start of the Evolutions will give birth to new market dynamics and tons of new beautiful artistic visuals.
The Evolution Smart Contract will be audited to allow NFT holders a first look into the Evolution Chamber and eventually, evolve their Mooning Monkeys to Galactic Gorillas.
Alongside the official launch of the Evolution Chamber, the TAK Token Smart Contract will also be audited by Hacken.io to ensure the security of the Mooning Monkey community and partners, and the team’s Market Maker will be officially onboarded to ensure the smooth release and trading of the TAK Token on centralized exchanges.
Same auditing and security processes will be set for the Comic Book IDO of the first chapter, “Dark Days”, to secure the reality of the Comic Book INO taking place within this phase as well. The minting event for the INO will follow normal listing procedures and addition to OpenSea.
As for the Crash Game, the first game animation and final visuals will be released for public viewing. And, the team will continue seeking and providing strategic partnerships with influential crypto firms, gaming guilds, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and other non-crypto influencers within the US region in preparation for the game’s launch.
Phase 5 – Four Elements Completion (SEP – JAN 23)
The 5th phase will be filled with milestones and new beginnings for the Mooning Monkey project and community. It will also prove to be rewarding for those who have remained faithful to the project.
The Crash Game Beta and Final release will take place. During the game launch, a portion of the company’s holdings in TAK Tokens will be redistributed as rewards to the Mooning Monkey NFT holders via free claimable airdrop. The first profits shared in $TAK will as well be distributed to those lucky enough to still hold those precious Mooning Monkeys and/or evolutions.
And, to ensure maximum visibility of the Crash Game launch, our team will be strengthening its marketing arm with strong advertising campaigns alongside the first outreach support from our most awaited partner, Mr. Beast.
In terms of the TAK Token, the ICO will take place in this phase through the use of launchpads, and will soon after be released on both partnered DEX and CEX platforms, providing liquidity for the project. Additionally, TAK liquidity providers on DEX platforms will automatically be enrolled in our liquidity rewards program.
The team will also be releasing the first sneak peeks of the Comic Book Series, Chapter 2, “Into the Unknown”, in this phase.
To keep the suspense in the Mooning Monkey universe, the Evolution Chamber will add the Level 3 evolutionary stage, the Alien Gorilla – accessible to those who have Galactic Gorillas for burning.
Phase 6 – Eternal Yeti & Expansion (FEB – MAY 2023)
The team does not only love gaming, but DeFi as well. In fact, the collateralization model is already part of our tokenomics paper. While the team would like to share it with the community right away, they are committed to ensuring that the game has passed extensive testing and that the platform is 100% stable.
The collateralization model will allow both fans of the project and DeFi amateurs to collateralize their $TAK (TAK Token) for $STAK (Stable TAK Token) for various use cases such as currency for the Crash Game, trade in the crypto market or simply enjoy the DeFi services in available and in development.
Alongside these efforts of creating a stable economy for the community, the Comic Book, Chapter 2, “Into the Unknown” INO will launch in this phase as well. And, will follow the same minting process as the first chapter along with the listing on OpenSea.
For security purposes, all Smart Contracts for the aforementioned will be audited by Hacken.io.
As a part of our ongoing initiative to make the game more interactive and enjoyable, animations and playability updates will be revealed.
This phase will culminate in the release of the fourth and final evolutionary stage collection, The Eternal Yeti. Mooning Monkey will be partnering up with a world-renowned artist to create the 500 NFTs available in this collection.
Phase 7 – Cryptoworld Colonization (JUN – OCT 23)
As part of our plan to immerse the community even deeper into the Mooning Monkey universe, we will publish and promote the INO of the last chapter of the Comic Book series, “The Last Retaliation”.
Additionally, due to the substantial development of the project at this point, resources will have been set aside to build the second game – a P2E based on the Mooning Monkey story sequel.
The sequel follows the narrative of the 500 Eternal Yetis as they discover they are not immune to future attacks. They must repopulate the Mooning Monkey species to survive, making them more valuable than ever before.
Phase 8 – A New Hope (NOV – FEB 24)
The fourth Comic Book will come to fruition, it will be finalized, audited and launched through a special INO, closing the last part of the first adventure. Listing on Opensea marketplace will follow.
The second video game demo is released and marks the beginning of a multi-game platform.
Where one story ends, another begins, the Mooning Monkey Breeding Mechanism is completed and a new adventure awaits a generation yearning for its survival.
